Carolyn Sullivan is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Massachusetts and has been practicing since 2010.  She earned her Master's Degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2009 and her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition from Framingham State University in 2005.  She has experience in both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture and specializes in musculoskeletal injuries.

So what is acupuncture and what can it do for you?  Acupuncture is an an ancient healing art that dates back some 5,000 years and has been used extensively in the Orient and has just recently (30 years) been introduced in the West as an alternative health care option.  Acupuncture has been documented to help an array of conditions including insomnia, muscle and joint pain, arthritis, migraines, infertility and much more.  It is based on the idea of Qi, or energy, and how it circulates in the body.  If Qi is blocked or deficient, it can cause a host of health problems.  The basic premise behind acupuncture is to restore the healthy flow of Qi throughout the body and promote health.
