About the artist:

After a lifetime of woodworking Craig Marshall finally decided to pursue his passion full time and open the Marshall Woodworking Studio in 2009 rather than retire. His earliest woodworking projects began as a child when a visit to the local lumber yard enabled him to go through the scrap pile for free. After graduating from San Francisco State University in the turbulent 60’s he embarked on a career in the timber and building materials industry where he gained comprehensive knowledge about timber and wood in a variety of positions including architectural millwork sales, international import and export of lumber and plywood, and management of plywood plants and sawmills.

Today his knowledge and skills about wood are used in the careful, meticulous design and building of Objets d’ Art from both exotic and domestic hardwoods. If you have creative ideas you would like to have realized in wood, give Craig a call and discuss the possibilities, visit his website at http://marshallwoodworkingstudio.com, or see his work in various galleries and shows in the Pacific Northwest.
