The Minnesota Zoo is full of surprises. It's home to 4100 animals, many of them rare, threatened, or endangered. From the red panda and the crocodile on the Tropics Trail to the dolphins and sea dragons in Discovery Bay, there's something wondrous to engage children and adults of all ages. Get an up-close look at grizzlies in the Russia's Grizzly Coast exhibit. Follow the Northern Trail to find the snow monkeys, or wander the Minnesota Trail to see wolves, coyotes, and beavers. And from April to November, visit the domestic animals and learn where your food comes from at the Family Farm.
