Butterfly, the beautiful young geisha, falls in love with American naval officer Pinkerton to disastrous heart-rending results. Whether this is your first or your fifth experience of Puccini's gorgeous opera, Madame Butterfly's ending will make you gasp. Sung in Italian with English translations projected above the stage, but you'll become so absorbed by the story, the translations will hardly be necessary.
