The Brown Arch is a historical area, an almost "rite of passage" for new and return visitors to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The tribute area will be located between Wittman Road and the flightline, and the bricks that will be offered will be on the west side of the arch. EAA will use the bricks by the throat of the design to welcome all visitors to the "World's Greatest Aviation Celebration." The plaque inscription will read: "The Gateway to Aviation."
