The North American P-51 "Mustang" was probably the most famous fighter of the US Army Air Force from World War II. One of the 357th Fighter Group "Mustangs" is flying in the markings of "Old Crow" the most well-known Warbirds and are airshow regulars even today. C.E. "Bud" Anderson, is a triple-ace, and pilot of "Old Crow." Launched as airborne-spares, this mission depicts the two Mustangs flying to the Alps on what became a "joy-ride" while their fellow pilots shot down more than 50 enemy aircraft…the groups' most successful mission of the war.
