"The Royal Shave is The Art of Shaving’s signature service. Performed by a master barber, the 45-minute treatment begins with a hot towel to open pores, followed by a pre-shave oil to prepare the skin. Then, using a brush, rich shaving cream is applied in a hot lather. A straight-razor shave comes in two parts—one pass with the grain and then after a re-lather, a second pass against the grain. A hot towel infused with lemon essential oil is applied, followed by a soothing after-shave mask, a cold towel with lavender essential oil, a hydrating toner and a moisturizing after-shave balm."

The Haircut and Royal Shave is available nationally at any of the Barber Spa's of The Art of Shaving (except the NYC store).  Locally, it is available at the Union Square Store (San Francisco) or at the Stoneridge Mall Store (Pleasanton)
