The arrival of Airship Ventures’ Zeppelin in San Francisco in October of 2008 marked the first time in 71 years that Zeppelins have flown the skies over the United States. There is one other in the world located in Friedrichshafen, Germany but the Eureka is the largest at 246 feet in length – 15 feet longer than a Boeing747.
