This beautiful handmade Kosen brand golden retriever lies down in harness, awaiting his next command. His supersoft fur and lifelike expression are trademarks of Kosen, the German company famous for its attention to detail. The silver tag attached to his training collar is emblazoned with his name, "Dana". This dog measures about 15 inches from nose to tail, and is approximately 7 inches tall in the reclining position. He wears a gorgeous leather harness and leash handmade by the wildlife artist Hava Hegenbarth. It is an authentic replica of the harnesses worn by working Seeing Eye dogs, rendered in exquisite detail.

Special Instructions
Hava Hegenbarth's name may be familiar, as her work graces some of the Seeing Eye's lovely drawn notecards. Hava began drawing animals while stationed abroad with the U.S. Foreign Service; she was in Australia, and later went to Rwanda and Tanzania. Since retiring from the Foreign Service, Hava devotes her time to her art and raising guide dogs.
