Anyone would be thrilled to own this wonderful handmade stuffed golden retriever dog in harness. This gorgeous golden retriever sits jauntily at attention, with eyes alert but relaxed, mouth in the famous golden smile. The leather tag on his training collar proclaims his name: Simba. His authentic replica leather leash, collar and harness were handmade by wildlife artist Hava Hegenbarth. Simba is approximately 18" high, and measures about 12" across, in the seated position.
Special Instructions
Hava Hegenbarth's name may be familiar, as her work graces some of The Seeing Eye's lovely drawn notecards. Hava began drawing animals while stationed abroad with the U.S. Foreign Service; her first assignment was Australia, and later she was in Rwanda and Tanzania. Since retiring from the Foreign Service, Hava devotes her time to her art and raising guide dogs.
