Winning bidder will receive one week of choice of day camp or sports camp (football, basketball, soccer, baseball, NOT crew) from among BB&N's day camps, depending on availability. Camps run from 6/25-late August.  BB&N is offering two one-week sessions which could be purchased and combined for use by the same child or siblings.

BB&N Summer Camp is proud to announce the addition of specialty sports day camps to its summer program.The Sports Academy program will be open to boys and girls who will be entering the appropriate grades per sport as noted below, giving students a fun, safe environment to play sports. Although most programs are offered to our older campers (entering grades 5-8), we do have Coach Papas' Football Clinic for grades 2-8 and Crew for grades 6-9. Please see the descriptions below for grade level requirements. All programs are co-ed and open to all abilities. Each Sports Academy week runs from 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted.  Early Morning and Extended Day options are available for most camp weeks.

A sample day schedule will include a morning session, a training session, and an afternoon session.The morning session will begin at 9AM and run until 11AM.  During the morning session, the emphasis will be on specific skill development pertaining to each sport.  The training session will run from 11AM to 1PM, and will include lunch, an introduction to sport specific strength and conditioning, and a slip ’n slide.  The afternoon session will run from 1 to 3 and will incorporate sport specific game situations and strategy culminating on Friday with a full scale game. The afternoon will conclude with a 10-20 minute clean up and cool down period followed by dismissal at 3:30PM.  Extended day and Early morning options will be available for these programs at the regular day camp rate.  Please note: the pools are utilized for the younger campers registered only in our Classic Day Camp, the pools are not available to Sports Academy Campers.

Foootball Clinics:

The NEFB Clinics have been a successful youth football organization in Boston for over 14 years now under the leadership of Head Coach and owner, John Papas. Coach Papas is also BB&N's Head Football Coach for the last eight years with an amazing record of football victories under his belt with a following of dedicated families with first hand knowledge of his strong leadership and undeniable skills both on and off the field. We are very excited to be working with Coach Papas in this new capacity and to add his established football program to our Summer Sports Academy lineup for 2011.

Mission:

Our goal at BB&N is to provide a valuable and enjoyable learning environment for boys and girls from grades Pre-K thru Grade 12 during the summer months. Campers must be 4 years old by June 1 of the camp year. All children are welcome regardless of the school they attend. All grades referenced refer to the grade the camper will be entering after camp/summer is complete. We give all campers a careful balance of recreational and creative activities in small groups. All of our camps are both comfortable and friendly, and we believe in a program that encourages new friendships to develop and established ones to grow. Whether you spend one week with us or several, we are hopeful that you will look back on a well-rounded experience full of fond memories that will last a lifetime.
