Winning bidder will receive one week of Rock Star Boot Camp from the School of Rock.
About School of Rock:
School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, drums and combines weekly private music leassons and group band rehearsals to prepare students to take the stage in front of live audiences in an authentic concert setting. We serve ages 6-18, and also have an Adult Program as well. The School of Rock Boston is located at 120 Elm Street in Watertown, MA (walking distance from the Target Department Store). With more than a decade of successful experience teaching music, School of Rock is the national leader in music education for kids from 2nd grade through high school. Students learn from professional musicians in an interactive environment combining weekly private lessons and structured group rehearsals with the ultimate goal of performing live in front of real crowds.
SUMMER CAMP & APRIL BREAK CAMP INFORMATION
Program A - Performance Boot Camp
A great introduction to our year- round program. This is a way for new and current students to make huge strides in the performance abilities. Students receive intensive individual and group lessons on the instrument of their choice. The program culminates in a live show. This is an ideal program for advanced beginners.
Duration: 1 Week
Schedule: 9am - 3pm (Monday through Friday), July 9-13
Free early drop off and late pick up!
Max enrollment: 20
Activities include:
- Being grouped into a band of 5-7 musicians
- Private and group lessons with our instructors, many of whom are Berklee-affiliated.
- Learning 2 cover songs
- Writing 1 original song from scratch
- Recording your songs onto a CD
- Guitar and drum maintenance clinics
- Learning how to promote your show
- Performing at a show at a local rock venue!
This program is for students, ages 7-17 who who either sing, play bass, guitar, piano, or drums. (No, we do NOT do age-differentiated grouping, so please don’t ask).

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
