Description
It's not just about reading, it's about writing. Keep your child engaged this summer with a 10-week writing program:
Wednesday, June 13 – Wednesday, August 15
Appropriate for average to above-average learners Grades 4 – 8
Weekly one-hour writing class will focus on:
- Brainstorming techniques
- Outlining/webbing practice
- Organizing paragraph
- Developing “hook” topic sentences
- Constructing simple to complex essays
- Utilizing figurative language and sensory imagery
Special Instructions

- Classes are hosted every Wednesday for 10 weeks. Time is determined by child's grade but classes are hosted late afternoon to early evening after summer camps (3 pm -6:00 pm).
