Viader Vineyard is located in the hills of Napa Valley near St. Helena.  The blend represented in this bottle is highly influenced by Cabernet Frac, which imparts a unique, violet-like perfume, as well as a rounding softness and considerable elegance of structure to this hillside-grown Cabernet Sauvignon.

2. 1990 Carmenet Meritage, Moon Mt. Estate Vineyard, Sonoma Valley.  ($35 value)

This blend is composed of Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.  A selection of ten individual lots was blended and aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
