7433 - 1996 "The Iron Horse" - Lou Gehrig Lidded Stein. With Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig formed baseball's most formidable one-two punch ever, hitting cleanup behind the Bambino during the Yankee's in the 1920's and 1930's. He played in 2130 consecutive games, had a career batting average of .340, hit a season high 49 home runs in 1934 & 1936 and had a season high 184 RBIs in 1931. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1939.
