Reiki I at EastWest Reiki - Energy Medicine for Self-Care

Open to All Ages

No previous experience is necessary for Reiki I. This is an enjoyable one-day training that gives you an understanding of Reiki and its benefits for you and those around you. (NOTE: We sometimes run this class in two 4-hour days to allow for home practice.)

Elements covered in this class include:

• The Reiki Precepts, integrating awareness into daily life


• A brief history of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki


• An explanation of the three levels of Reiki


• Reiki I Attunements


• Three Pillars of Reiki


• Hands-on practice of the basic Reiki hand positions for self & others


• A Reiki I handbook


• A Code of Ethics


• A Reiki I Certificate of Completion and your Lineage

Energetic modalities are most easily learned experientially. Discussion and handout materials will be components of the course's agenda and participants have large blocks of time for ample hands-on practice to more fully integrate this course of study.

Upon completion of Reiki I you will have all the necessary tools to develop your own personal Reiki practice.

This course has CE contact hour approval for LMT's.
