Mike Buckendorf (BK class of 1986) describes the wartime effort of the city of Tulsa in his book "Tulsa The War Years"  The book is full of historical pictures and descriptions of Tulsa's role in the war.  The book has been autographed by the author.  This is truly a gem for anyone who loves our city and remembers the "Greatest Generation."
