Description
This Nueva Pinot Noir is made from exceptional fruit harvested from a biodynamically farmed vineyard on the southwestern edge of Petaluma. Here, ocean breezes and fog are funneled through the Petaluma Gap, keeping temperatures up to 15 degrees cooler than many parts of Sonoma. Aged in 30 percent new French oak, this wine exhibits notes of dark cherry and rhubarb, with subtle tannins that offer approachability, balance, and elegance. Rated 92 by Robert Parker. 14.4% alcohol; pick date September 11, 2008. Add this delicious case of Pinot Noir to your wine collection!
