Nueva parent and Tesla Motors VP of finance Michael Taylor will personally lead 10 lucky car enthusiasts through Fremont’s five-million-square-foot Tesla factory for a behind-the-scenes tour that contrasts the 60-year-old NUMMI manufacturing process with Tesla’s new, highly flexible procedure. After the tour, you’ll have a chance to check out and even test-drive the coveted Model S (sedan). Tour to take place in July or August, preferably on a Friday afternoon, 1–3 pm. Adults only, please.
