Description

Randy Tuten's "market-the-performers" artwork was an easy read for music patrons when it was slipped into the series of David Singer-designed posters. The Doors were so popular by this time that Bill Graham eschewed his regular venues for the much larger Cow Palace just outside the city.

The 3rd printing is on smooth opaque cover stock and has a Wolfgang's Vault notation in the lower right hand margin (not our watermark as seen in the image). It was printed in 2006 by the Bill Graham Archives LLC in a 1000 copy run. This reprint measures 13 7/8" x 21 5/8".

Wolfgang's Vault owns one of the world's largest collections of original concert posters, featuring hundreds of rock posters, political posters, sports posters, comedy posters and others that were previously unavailable to the general public. Virtually all of our concert posters are in mint condition, and many are signed by the headline performer or the graphic artist.

This is a Live Event Item.

Special Instructions

Poster custom framed by Marshall Lane, owner of Oberon Design and SFRP parent, to exacting archival quality standards.  The poster is mounted with linen tape, and can be removed from the frames without damaging the print.  Due to the custom nature of the framing, the poster was not trimmed or altered in any way.
