Kenpo Karate is a balanced system of Self-Defense, utilizing both hands and feet. It incorporates circular and linear movements with intermittent power where and when needed.

Teaching children has ALWAYS been a specialty at Larry Tatum's Kenpo Karate Schools. A child's life is as real to them as it is to an adult's world, often times more. Our instructors get down on their knees to teach, so as to be eye to eye with the child. They don't teach down to the child but to them on a level of respect to the child. This encourages willingness from the child to try as hard as they can and in turn they develop self-esteem.
