| Jim Hannan was the ace of the Washington Senator's pitching rotation from 1962 to 1970. Known for his hard fast ball as a pitcher at Notre Dame, he went on to play 9 major league seasons, earning 41 major league wins and a career 3.8 ERA. In 1970 he pitched a one hitter against the Kansas City Royals. In 1971 he was traded for Cy Young winner Denny MacLean to the Tigers, later finishing the 1971 season as a Milwaukee Brewer. |
