Description

This antique wooden tilt top table, painted by local artist Corrine Bongiovanni, depicts a scene from the beloved Ferry Beach in Saco, Maine.  


Antique cherry, 1950. Painted in acrylics.  Finished and sealed, but no hot items.  Upright measurements are 37" height x 16" width.  Measures 24.5" high when table is flat.  


Artist Information


Corrine Bongiovanni is the Authorized Artist for the Maine State Golf Association and has a specialty in golf art. She paints in four mediums, has won awards for her work in juried exhibits, and currently shows at the Yarmouth Frame Shop and Gallery in Yarmouth, ME. Art collectors recognize  her for both her paintings of golf courses and golfers and for her paintings of boats, old buildings, and landscapes. Painting people in their daily lives is a new focus.

Corrine's trade name, "Signature Looks," showcases her wall art, high quality prints, note cards, bag tags, and fine art tables. Corrine enjoys commission work and the enduring relationships with her patrons.

Like most artists, Corrine's style has evolved over years and reflects her love of the intermingling of light and shadows. Her goal? To portray the temperature and atmosphere of a location. 

Corrine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in practice in Portland, ME with a specialty in treating adults, individually and in couples. She loves her clinical work but finds that painting is really her passion. "It's wonderful to be able to please new art clients and continue to serve longer term patrons."
