Tony van Hasselt's beautiful watercolor is titled "Eldred's Inlet" and measures 18" x 22" framed.  


Artist Information:


After coming to the United States, the Dutch-born Tony van Hasselt earned his living in commercial design and art related fields.  He studied under Frank Reilly, a popular teacher at New York's famous Art Student League.  As one of the first workshop pioneers, van Hasselt started Painting Holidays, an international workshop agency in 1963.  This venture gave him the opportunity to paint with and work under famous artists such as John Pike, Edgar A. Whitney, Robert E. Wood, Tom Hill, Milford Zornes, Rex Brandt and others.  


Tony has been featured in American Artist, Southwest Art, Australian Artist, and his paintings have graced the covers of the Watercolor Magic and Artist's Magazine. His work can be found in the books of veteran watercolor artists Rex Brandt, Valfred Thelin, Ron Ranson, and Edgar A. Whitney. Tony also authored eight art instruction books.
