This copper wall art was handmade by artist Teresa Mowery.  The patina on the copper was created through the use of salts and acids.  A resist is also used in certain areas to create the 4 different patterns and images you see in the brushed copper.  Dimensions are 10" x 10" with wooden backing.  

The Maine Potters Market has been in existence for over 25 years in the historic Old Port District of Portland, Maine.  They are a cooperative - owned and operated by their members, each of which is a potter living and working in Maine.  They have fifteen members with fifteen unique styles, filling their store with a variety of finely crafted, hand made pottery.
