A well cellared find here in a Magnum of Chateuneuf-du-Pape form 1998.  When tasted and reviewed before even being bottled it was described as “deep ruby color...followed by moderately intense aromas of dried herbs, pepper, cassis and blackberry fruit, a silky texture, good freshness, medium to full body, and a corpulent, rich, long finish”.  Described as drinkable upon release, it was also recommended to be enjoyed in 2012, so here is your chance.
