About the Artist
Tamara Spolianski was born in Uzbekistan in 1951. She received her first drawing lessons from her father, the famous painter Gregory Spolianski at an early age.
In 1975, Tamara finished her art studies at the University of Tashkent and participated in a student art exhibition. The best artworks of that exhibition are still displayed in the main museum of Uzbekistan and the Museum for Eastern Culture in Moscow.
In 1980, Tamara moved to Moscow and regularly participated in exhibitions around the Soviet Union.
Finally in 1991 Tamara decided to emigrate to Israel. She has exhibited in the American Consulate in Israel and in various other distinguished venues around the country. Her work is also on regular display in many galleries all over Israel.
