Big Cat Rescue is one of the world's largest accredited sanctuaries for exotic cats who have been abused, abandoned, retired from performing acts or saved from being slaughtered for fur coats. The sanctuary houses over 100 big cats, a total of 15 of the 35 species of wild cat. Many species at Big Cat Rescue are threatened, endangered or extinct in the wild.
