Creek Bed. Marilyn Phillis is known for her expressive watermedia paintings ranging from representational to cosmic abstraction. She is an elected member of the American, National and Ohio Watercolor Societies, among others. Ms. Phillis also is an author of a book on watercolor, Watermedia Techniques for Releasing the Creative Spirit, a sought after juror of exhibitions and a watermedia workshop teacher and lecturer. Her exhibits, both solo and small group, have been numerous and she has received many awards. Her work is found in public, corporate and private collections throughout Ohio and beyond.
