Bring your friends and family to spend the day at Dia:Beacon, with its stunning surroundings and stellar modern art collection! A beautiful train ride from Grand Central along the Hudson River (1 hour and 20 minutes). An easy 10-minute walk to the museum from the train station, with lovely views of the river. 

In 2003, Dia Art Foundation opened this museum on the Hudson River to house its renowned permanent collection, comprising major works of art from the 1960s to the present. Artists whose works are on view include Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, John Chamberlain, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, On Kawara, Agnes Martin and Richard Serra, among others, all displayed in a vast and awe-inspiring converted factory.
