Description

A big thank you to Alice and Ken Drogin (and their enormous green thumbs) for donating this fun item: your very own salsa garden growing in one easy to manage pot!  Everything you need:  tomato, pepper, onion and cilantro growing in one pot.  These veggie starts were grown with out pesticides or herbicides, and were were fertilized with fish kelp and an occassional dose of GroGreen.  They will be ready for pick-up around the end of May, 2012.


Ken and Alice are owners of Canyon Nursery and Exquisite Container Gardens in Castle Valley, Utah.  They have been providing quality nursery plants and beautiful ornamental and edible container plantings to the Canyonlands area for years.  Alice is a mentor for many gardeners in the area, and has taught workshops for the Youth Garden Project on Edible Container Plantings for people who do not have garden spaces.  You can find Alice and her wonderful plant starts at the Moab Farmers' Market or at Canyon Nursery in Castle Valley.  Call 435-259-8274 for directions to Canyon Nursery.
