SD Middle School has three sections of seventh and three sections of eighth grade.  All 7^th and 8^th grade sections have painted one of six matching wooden chairs. Each section has done a fantastic job replicating a famous artist painting.  7-1 worked on a Vincent  Van Gogh chair, 7-2 did Georgia O’Keeffe chair and 7-3,  Pablo Picasso.  8-1 painted a Gustav Klimt chair, 8-2 did Frida Kahlo and 8-3, Henri Matisse.  These chairs are fabulous as a set and wonderful individually.  Students have taken such ownership of them and would check to see the progress each time they came in the room.  We have had many students in the art room through recesses and lunch break finishing this fabulous project!

This chair represents the work of students in seventh grade, section 3  (7-3).
