About the Artist

Karin Kis was a nurse for many years. In her "spare" time, she and husband, Mark, have had six children. Her talent at the time was that of her career and raising her growing family. However,Karin always had a burning desire to paint - her talent uniquely natural. This desire could not be relized until she began tutelage under renowned art teacher, Robert Taylor, at the Art Center in Sacramento, C.A. Through his instructions, Karin's work met with imediate sucess. Paintings were sold prior to their competition, In fact, she was commissioned to create a painting of the clubhouse at one of America's most famous golfcourses in Augusta, G.A. She currently has artwork exhibited in Japan, Hawaii, and in many private collection.
