This package contain six bottles of 2006 Serrera Gran Guarda malbec from Mendoza, Argentina--the most prestigious malbec growing region in the world. Grown at an elevation of about 3000 feet, these grapes grow thick skins to protect themselves from the harsh elements. This is where the tannins develop.

The resulting juice is intense, deep violet with scarlet highlights in color. Aromas of spice and chocolate with deep ripe red fruits. On the palate, smooth silky notes of blackberry, dried cherries and chocolate, create a smokey well balanced, smooth wine. This superior quality wine can be stored up to 15 years.
