City Hall's chief docent, Ellen Schumer, will lead the tour, illuminating the historical and architectural significance of the Beaux-Arts building at the nerve center of our city government. Providing color commentary (as well as political gossip) will be veteran Chronicle reporter & CDS parent Rachel Gordon and ultimate City Hall insider & CDS parent Nicolas King, who has worked for the Board of Supervisors, the mayor and city adminstrator. After the tour, meet Supervisor Scott Wiener, whose district includes CDS, for coffee and conversation.
