Description

This quilt celebrates new beginnings and new stories. The Penguins published many new stories this year. Arranged in a grid reminiscent of stained-glass windows are examples of their cover art, representing their new skills as writers and artists. In the center is a depiction of a new story: the beautiful architecture of 601 Dolores, which is now part of the CDS story. The Penguins are also characters in that new story. It is still in the making, but it can always be told under a nearby palm tree.

This is a Live Event Item.

Special Instructions

By the Penguins, Lucian Beebe, Leslie Bauer, Caroline Cho, Mary Dennis, Fasil Fikreab, Emily Goldman-Quinn, Kent Jenkins and Yin Yin Wong. Teachers: Linnea Larsen and Matt Martin.

Dimensions: 52" x 71"
