Description
As part of their exploration of electricity and magnetism, the fourth grade Brown Bears learned how to create circuits in order to power small motors and light bulbs. This quilt diagrams student-designed bulbs, energized by the five sources of renewable energy available to us today. Renewable energy sources make up eight percent of the total energy produced on our planet today. Do you know what they are?
This quilt is an art piece (not to be used as an electric blanket!). If you don’t have a place to hang it in your home or office, consider donating it to CDS . . . our new building at 601 Dolores has quite a bit of wall space available for display!
Special Instructions
By the Brown Bears, Diana Hunt and Jim Campbell. Teacher: Becky Sawada
Dimensions: 46" x 72"
