Skip Barber 1-day Driving School at Atlanta Motor Speedway combines classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction in an exciting variety of Mazda passenger vehicles.
Students learn the survival skills needed to safely handle todays challenging road conditions. The New Driver program begins with a classroom session on vehicle dynamics, manual transmission instruction and identifying why cars behave the way they do. There is an emphasis on street awareness and a thorough review of road etiquette. Students practice slide recoveries on the skid pad, threshold panic braking, lane-toss and emergency lane changing as well as accident avoidance techniques.
Students have the time of their lives and learn skills that could save them.
