The camps the first week will be limited to the first 24 who enroll in each
session because we only have two volleyball courts to use this week.

Little Dragon Volleyball Camp

This camp will be geared for the younger volleyball athlete. The net will be
lowered and there will be lighter volleyballs for the participants. It is for
students entering 6th grade and below in August 2012. The athletes will be
grouped according to ability and skill level. All of the entry-level volleyball
skills will be emphasized, as well as the rules for volleyball.

The main purpose of this camp will be to help the 2012 8th graders get ready
for volleyball at Carroll and Dawson Middle Schools. The coaches at camp
will not only teach the individual skills of passing, setting, hitting, etc., but will
also begin teaching team systems. Since most of these girls will have played in
7th grade, we will concentrate on more positional training during camp.
