About the Artist:  My mission as an artist is to create paintings that bring joy, by celebrating our individual moments of self-expression and memory. I create paintings that remind people of who they are. By combining representational images such as a child’s portrait, a special place or event, or a beloved pet with the “stuff” of personal significance - a child’s own drawings, the tickets and tokens collected on ...a holiday trip, song lyrics, letters and notes - I collage the fabric of your unique story. Each painting solicits a personal journey; reminiscent of a happy place, a best self. Beauty is the ultimate goal of my work, so that seeing my paintings brings pleasure. In living with them on your wall, you make fresh discoveries in the mixed media surface each time you revisit its emotional landscape.
