Description
A GOOD LION READING
The Lions that flank the entrance to the New York Public Library—nicknamed Patience and Fortitude by Mayor LaGuardia—are over 100 years old. But, you’ll need to be a bit younger than that to get into the NYPL’s Young Lions. The Young Lions is a membership group for New Yorkers in their 20s and 30s who are committed to supporting the work of the Library. Perks include behind-the-scenes access to special collections, discounts, and invites to exclusive lectures, book groups, and social events. You’ll mix and mingle with today’s great authors and thinkers. Past guests include Darren Aronofsky, Rivka Galchen, and Daniel Craig. These Lions have seen it all.
