Each summer, thousands flock to the Delacorte Theater in Central Park to experience free, outdoor productions of Shakespeare, classics, and newer American works that comprise the Shakespeare in the Park season. Now in its 50th year, the summer 2012 season will feature Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, running from July 23 – August 25. In Into the Woods, a witch's curse condemns the Baker and his Wife to a life without children. They embark on a quest to find the four items required to break the spell. The cast includes Amy Adams (Enchanted, The Fighter) as the Baker’s Wife and Donna Murphy (Tony Award for Sondheim’sPassion) as the Witch. You'll also get an exclusive backstage tour with Tess Soltau (Love and Other Drugs, The Addams Family) after the show!
