REMEMBERING WENDY WASSERSTEIN

The Heidi Chronicles by Wendy Wasserstein premiered at Playwrights Horizons in 1988. It went on to win the NY Drama Critics' Circle Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, the Tony, and the Pulitzer. Sadly, the theater world lost Wendy Wasserstein in 2006, but her voice can still be heard through the legacy of smart, funny, feminist, original, touching works for the stage that survive her.
