Enjoy four 30-minute violin lessons with violin performer and teacher Laura Mericle

Laura Mericle teaches violin to students of all ages and levels.  She maintains a private studio and also teaches violin for Madison Music Makers, a program that provides economically disadvantaged children with music instruction. In addition to her teaching duties with Madison Music Makers, she is the administrative assistant for the organization.Laura holds a Master of Music degree in violin performance from the University of Wisconsin, where she studied with David Perry.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College, where she studied music and economics.  While a studentat Barnard she studied violin at the Manhattan School of Music with Peter Winograd. An active orchestral and chamber musician, Laura has played with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, the Columbia University Bach Society, and several chamber ensembles. She is currently an orchestra coach for the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras and works closely with violin pedagogue Bonnie Greene.
