Randy Ng, owner/operator of Umami Ramen & Dumpling Bar, will host a dinner party at his home where he will prepare an authentic southern (Cantonese) Chinese meal for 6. Some examples of what might be on the menu: Classic soy-braised organic free-range chicken, stir-fried snow pea pod leaves, Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce, salt and pepper jumbo shrimp, old school dried bean curd soup (pork-based), braised dried shitake mushrooms with napa cabbage, green tea/red bean mochi with black sesame sauce (dessert). |
