This will be a chance to learn to knit and spend some quality time with your child and other Open families.  We will serve a lite lunch while we give you a little knitting knowhow.  If you're already a knitter, but feeling rusty, or would like to learn a new knitting skill, we can help with  that, too.  We will supply yarn, and loan you some needles.  We will pre-plan a project for you to learn with and if it isn't finished by the end of our afternoon, we'll gladly provide help along the way. 

We (Leslie Ancona Baker, Wendy Foxowrth and Andrea Roth-Fedida) are all lovers of knitting and many things crafty.  Come share the afternoon with us as we introduce you to the addictive art of knitting!
