Through supervised, hands-on construction experience, positive skills coaching and working directly with female role models, participants learn basic math and measurement, construction basics, tool use and tool safety.  Participants visit construction sites, build teamwork skills and learn to use both hand and power tools. 

Activities culminate in a cooperative building project such as a toolshed which is then donated to a community garden.
