Prashant Kakad hails from the dream city Mumbai which is also home to Bollywood.  An energetic, charismatic and fun Choreographer-DJ, Prashant has spread Indian dance music and moves across both coasts of America through his Jai Ho! Dance Parties.

Masti Ki PaathShaala (School of Fun) Dance Classes:

Prashant started Masti Ki PaathShala (School of Fun) in 2006 with a summer dance workshop for kids. Ever since, he has taught kids, teenagers as well as adults culminating into performances at various cultural events.

Prashant has taught at PCC, REED College, PSU as well as conducted hundreds of dance workshops at private, corporate & special events.

In his introductory classes, Prashant offers a blend of Bhangra, a lively traditional celebratory Indian folk dance with athletic yet graceful full-body movements driven by infectious beats, and Bollywood, the energetic, fluid and mystical dance style featured in numerous modern Indian films. These are fun and casual classes FOR ALL AGES and ALL LEVELS with a great blend of contemporary Eastern music.

In his intermediate Choreography driven classes, Prashant draws from dance experience in styles as varied as west african, latin, hip-hop and blends it with the free spirited exuberance that is signature Bollywood to create choreographies that are just as pleasing to watch as they are fun to learn.
