After your tour, enjoy a private tasting in the ambiance of our barrel aging caves. A selection of gourmet cheeses is paired with our unique wines. Winemaster Walter Schug crafted the legendary Insignia and Eisele Vineyard Cabernets of the 70s and early 80s, as well as America's first Syrah. He founded his own label in 1980 to produce elegant Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from the cool-climate Carneros region. Limited bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc round out the portfolio
