Description
One week stay on the Hamakua Coast of Hawaii, the Big Island, in a large one bedroom garden apartment of a home, with a large, gorgeous backyard bordering a lush river gorge (pun intended), complete with swim pond and waterfall (which may or may not be easily accessible depending on rain and mud).
The bedroom has both king and queen size beds and there are available foam or inflatable air mattresses (and sofa) for extra persons, if needed. The donating family can also provide bikes (including one built for two) for exploring the area.
Located just 5 minutes north of downtown Hilo and within a mile or two of a great surf beach and the island's best botanical gardens. Lots to see and do on the Big Island, from volcanoes to the world's best stargazing.

If the week chosen is one when the one bedroom unit is booked (or in use by owners, June 7 to possibly as late as July 4 this year), there is also a very nice studio apartment available, but without a king bed.
